Kronen® Isolierspray 124 is a quick solution for isolating critical dirt such as asphalt, tar, carbolineum, bitumen, smoke and soot stains as well as coloured crayons. It also reliably blocks water marks on plaster, concrete, wood, fibre cement and many other surfaces. It can be overcoated with alkyd resin primers and emulsion paints, which allows for flexible further processing.
Instructions for use of Kronen® Insulating Spray
Suitable surfaces
Mineral surfaces (plaster, concrete, fibre cement), wood-based materials and polystyrene.
Surface preparation
The surface must be dry, clean and stable. Dry brush water marks and completely remove salt efflorescence.
Application
- Application: Apply 2–3 coats of Kronen® Isolierspray in thin layers.
- Cross-coat technique: Carry out the spraying process in even movements (horizontal/vertical).
- Drying phases: Allow the material to dry completely between coats.
- Test coat: Test the insulating effect in an inconspicuous place.
- Note: Do not sand the layer after drying to maintain the insulating effect.
Recoatability
- Compatible with: Emulsion paints, alkyd paints and water-dilutable acrylic paints.
- Not compatible with: Two-component paints (2K paints).
Processing conditions
- Temperature: 8°C to 30°C (material, substrate, air).
- Humidity: 30–75% relative humidity (RH).
- Spray instructions: Shake can vigorously for 2 minutes before use.
