With Deco Wall & Floor a new level of generosity will be created! The jointless floor covering in the new look connects rooms, and creates an ambience that is as elegant as it is timeless - ideal for a modern, purist living. The surfaces appear as if they are cast from a single mould, and form a discreet and elegant frame for all that is beautiful.

Deco Wall & Floor is a decorative, two-component floor and wall filler for the creation of jointless surfaces. The application options in living rooms, bathrooms and kitchens are very broad. Thanks to a multi-layer sealant, the silk-matt/matt surfaces are extremely resistant and easy to clean.

Processing made easy

Deco Wall & Floor can be used on many different surfaces. It is thereby important that a sufficient adhesion is guaranteed. Expansion joints must be adopted. It should also be noted that wall and floor surfaces are always considered as two components, and are separated by a joint.

When used in wet areas/shower areas of bathrooms and kitchens, standing water must be avoided. In splash water areas, Deco Wall & Floor can be used without any problems thanks to the multi-layer sealing with 2K Aqua Wet Room Sealer. Overall, the coating build-up is pleasingly low at only 2-3 mm thickness.

Coating structure on smooth load-bearing screed

Clean, sand and remove dust from the surface. Detailed substrate preparation: see TM
1.) Prime mineral substrate with Special Primer Resin 864 according to TM (if necessary with fabric). Sprinkle the damp coating with quartz sand grain size 0.3 - 0.6 mm
2.) Spread the first layer of Deco Wall & Floor over the surface of the grain and, if necessary, when dry, sand and vacuum
3.) Spread and smooth the second layer of Deco Wall & Floor and, if necessary, when dry, sand and vacuum
4.) Priming with 2K Aqua Deco Wall & Floor Sealer undiluted
5.) Intermediate coat with 2K Aqua Deco Wall & Floor Seal undiluted 6.) Final coat with 2K Aqua Deco Wall & Floor Seal undiluted

Coating build-up on uneven screed and old ceramic coverings

Prepare substrate according to manufacturer's instructions
1.) Introduction of a cementitious levelling compound such as Ardex K301 or K 40 (min. 1.5 N/mm²)
2.) Spread the first layer of Deco Wall & Floor over the surface of the grain and, if necessary, when dry, sand and vacuum
3.) Spread and smooth the second layer of Deco Wall & Floor and, if necessary, when dry, sand and vacuum
4.) Priming with 2K Aqua Deco Wall & Floor Sealer undiluted
5.) Intermediate coat with 2K Aqua Deco Wall & Floor Seal undiluted 6.) Final coat with 2K Aqua Deco Wall & Floor Seal undiluted

Coating structure on walls

The substrate must be solid, load-bearing and level. Level out any unevenness before application with suitable filler such as Ardex F 11. Detailed substrate preparation: see TM
[1.) Prime level substrate before Deco Wall & Floor with Iso Mineral Primer 309
2.) 1. Spread the layer of Deco Wall & Floor over the surface of the grain and, if necessary, when dry, sand and vacuum
3.) 2. Spread and smooth the layer of Deco Wall & Floor and, if necessary, when dry, sand and vacuum
4.) Priming with 2K Aqua Deco Wall & Floor Sealer undiluted
5.) Intermediate coat with 2K Aqua Deco Wall & Floor Seal undiluted 6.) Final coat with 2K Aqua Deco Wall & Floor Seal undiluted

Installation on walls in wet areas

Prepare the substrate according to DIN 18534, e.g. with Ardex 8+9 and the Ardex SK sealing tapes and sleeves. Then apply one layer of tile adhesive
1.) Old intact ceramic wall coverings with existing sealing can be levelled over with Universal Putty for Tiles and Wall Surfaces 808 after a thorough cleaning
2.) Spread the first layer of Deco Wall & Floor over the surface of the grain and, if necessary, when dry, sand and vacuum
3.) Spread and smooth the second layer of Deco Wall & Floor and, if necessary, when dry, sand and vacuum
4.) Priming with 2K Aqua Deco Wall & Floor Sealer undiluted
5.) Intermediate coating with 2K Aqua Wet Room Sealer undiluted 6.) Final coating with 2K Aqua Wet Room Sealer undiluted
In the shower we recommend only coating the walls, not the floor.
