Unbeatable protection in extreme temperatures

  • Easy to process
  • Shock and impact resistant
  • high hiding power
  • heat-resistant up to approx. 650º C
  • extremely high adhesion
  • no loss of adhesion even with shock cooling
  • can be painted over with all highly heat-resistant silicone resin paints
  • without harmful lead and chromate compounds

The 572 Universal Thermo Paint Silver is a high-performance special coating for metal surfaces that combines extreme heat resistance with long-lasting protection. This innovative silicone resin-based formulation is characterised by its impressive temperature tolerance of up to 650°C.

Areas of application of the thermal lacquer

The 572 Universal Thermal Paint Silver is ideal for a wide range of applications in which metal surfaces are exposed to high temperatures and strong temperature fluctuations:

  • Vehicle exhaust systems
  • Boilers and chimneys
  • Exhaust systems
  • Ovens and grills
  • Iron and steel structures
  • Castings

This versatility makes thermal paint an ideal solution for both industrial and private projects where heat resistance is required.
Application is simple: the substrate must be dry, oil-free, grease-free and clean. The paint is applied in thin layers and must be baked for complete curing by exposing it to a temperature of 180-200°C for at least 60 minutes.

Technical details

Yield: approx. 8-9 m² per litre
Drying time: Dust-dry after approx. 30 minutes at 20°C and 55% relative humidity
Burn-in time: approx. 60 minutes at 180-200°C for full load capacity
The 572 Universal Thermo Paint Silver can be painted over with all highly heat-resistant silicone resin paints and can be thinned with Jaeger Special Thinner 44. For optimum results, the substrate should be carefully prepared and the paint should be baked at 180-200°C after application to achieve its full resilience.
